Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to miss many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana had her first ever union rugby game for women which was held in New South Wales and she was the main focus of that match against Queensland. Allana added radio to the roster, and makes regularly appearances on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three sports, rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL was forced to end her career in football. Ferguson, who is 25 already, had tears to the same ligament in her teens, 17 and 20, when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her playing days were over.
